I've lost 10.6 pounds in seven weeks and i'm on Seroquel. I use a free online
food diary and keep it to 1200 to 1500 calories a day. I eat lots of veggies and aim for 30+ grams of fiber a day. I walk for over an hour a day with my four-legged personal trainer. Losing weight is mostly what you eat and just a small fraction exercise. I've heard it's as little as 10% exercise. I'm doing better focussing on restricting what i eat rather than others who are exercising vigorously. I only weigh myself once a week, on the same day, first thing in the morning, using the same scale. I don't drink alcohol. It piles on the pounds. I use a cute little circular food scale i got at Walmart for $20. It's good for pasta and rice which are deceptively fattening and the calories really add up.
I won't kid you -- dieting [or more accurately: 'lifestyle change'] is hard work. The Seroquel pounds are stubborn. In dieting during my pre Seroquel days i lost twice the weight for half the effort.
