Well, what you do is smooth them. Seriously. I know it sounds gross, but mice bred very quickly, and they can cause all kinds of damage inside your walls. Knawling on wires which could become a fire hazzard, making holes in your insulation, and carry germs , and disease. It seems mean, but you have to look at them as potentially dangerous intruders.
