I think you may be correct in your assessment. Thanks about the username, haha.
NPD was just the label that fit my outward behavior the best. But my inner motivations and so on are pretty different than a more "traditional" narcissist. I've also long had more self awareness than other narcissists, and the reasons for that are again on the dark side.
Sam Vankin used to really piss me off. He doesn't anymore, I think every once in awhile he can be quite astute.
