NPD was just the label that fit my outward behavior the best. But my inner motivations and so on are pretty different than a more "traditional" narcissist. I've also long had more self awareness than other narcissists, and the reasons for that are again on the dark side.

I got the label of PD NOS because not only did I tend towards narcissism, I had other things going on as well.
I know that Sam Vankin pisses others off as well. I got the original article from a post on another page. I am not going to read anymore of him since he is so controversial and I have so little time.
Since the book psychopath free covers narcissists as well as sociopaths , I may post my question on this forum to keep things simple. It has to do with a red flag in my mother and how it affected me.
