Well, I have a therapist appointment tonight, but therapy usually doesn't help me in these situations. I mean, I'm the kind of person who rarely likes to talk with others when depressed. I like to be alone and reflect on my thoughts. Whether that's healthy or not, that's what I do.

The last time I was depressed, I hid it from my therapist. He didn't suspect anything.. and I preferred it that way. The first time I admitted to feeling depressed, he kept asking me all sorts of questions, and I felt like I was being pestered. I just don't like to talk to others about depression when I'm depressed. It just makes me feel overall worse for some reason, probably because I can't "cure" it overnight and because ruminating on it just reminds me how awful I really feel.

In an ideal world, I would like to tell my therapist I'm depressed, have a 2-minute convo about it, and then talk about something else... but no, depression ends up being the topic for the entire session.

Anyway, I see my pdoc on Friday the 9th... so about a week from now.
