I used to like these kinds of tests when I was much younger, tried many versions, and found them interesting and useful back then. Enneagram pegged me 5 with 4 wing and Myers-Briggs INTP or INTJ. I actually used these tests to work on features that were apparently my weaknesses. I no longer care about these tests and find them far too simplistic and superficial. Also, I have seen many people who take the tests and then get obsessed with the result and develop a strong projective identification... basically a distorted view of themselves, they want to believe everything should apply and over-identify with the result. If human psychology and behavior were that simple and easy to classify...

I mentioned briefly these tests in an email once to my current T but the topic never came up in session. I doubt that he uses anything like these with clients for therapy.
