Outside of church, as a child (I was raised in an extremely traditional and religious family), I've never consumed alcohol knowingly, and do not at all anymore since I haven't been to church in a long time. Not even as an ingredient in cooking - I will not eat anything cooked with alcohol out of principle. I am morally opposed to alcohol, tobacco, and drugs, for secular reasons, and have seen them do too much harm to people, and have thusly never consumed a single one of these in my life, and am very against the idea of it.
