Hello kal1995: Hm-m-m-m... this is sort-of a dilemma. Yes, I think your best bet here may be to see if you can get a prescription for an antidepressant. In a case such as this, you could even consider simply seeing a general practice doctor rather than a psychiatrist.

I think, in most cases, it's best to be seen by a pdoc for psych med's. But they can sometimes be tough to get in to see on short notice... especially if you're not already a patient. It might be easier to just see a G.P. since you're going to moving again in a couple of months anyway. Then, once you get moved, you can get established with a new therapist & pdoc, as your needs require.
