I think anything is "possible" and that it has to do with the person themselves and their belief. I don't think my Heaven/Hell is like anyone else's Heaven/Hell but that both Heaven/Hells are possible just like it's possible for light to be a particle and a wave and change depending on whether you're looking at it or not, LOL. If you believe it was your mother and father, those beliefs make it "true" for you and my beliefs aren't relevant. If I believe it was your mother and father, my beliefs still aren't relevant. . . to your beliefs. I view the world according to my beliefs only; whether they are "true" or not isn't all that important because my world view is always true to me. A lot of "reality"/truth is a "convention" where we agree things are true. That doesn't detract from their trueness outside of us; Love is "true" whether I believe in it or not, just their relevance to us. I don't have to believe in Love.
