My diagnosis didn't change anything about how I saw myself because I already knew. Nobody really told us anything we didn't know...putting a name to our reality didn't change our reality.

Our plan for our lives has changed a few years ago because I became seriously physically disabled, but not necessarily changed in a bad way. We have recently written our second book - hard to come up with the appropriate pronouns on this sentence because I wrote the first one, but my little helped tremendously on the second; in fact, I couldn't have written it without her help and so it is dedicated to her. With my ability for physical activity seriously diminished now, we have changed our plan to writing more as we are able - and turning the second book into a series.
