It depends on what you weigh. One thing-looking down always makes the pooch look bigger.

Have you discussed your ED with the Pdoc or is he just for meds?

If you are a healthy BMI, then I would worry more about the BDD and how one maintains health while working with that. You already know your BDD is affecting how you see yourself. You say you are eating protein bars and shakes and cereals and soy milk. Do you see a nutritionist about your diet?

Do you do any weight training or other core building exercises? Maybe that could trim your abs while maintaining a healthy weight. You would see the result of your work building muscle and trimming your tum and maybe help you deal with the BDD.

I know that EDs are difficult to deal with. It sounds like you should go back to the specialist who helped you with your ED and BDD.
