I was diagnosed BP2 a long time ago, and the diagnosis seems to fit. I had mood swings but they were not that severe and did not last that long. I was able to manage them with meds.

Fast forwards many years and I am questioning my diagnosis.
Possible trigger:

Once I got out of the hospital and off of the pain meds life leveled out for me, I was stable for 5 months and was titrating off of some of my meds.

Now out of the blue I am not sleeping and aging some hallucinations, I have seen the vans again. And the last two nights I have had conversations with the angels and demons that I at one point thought were part of dreams I was having. But after a second night of seeing them and actually talking to them, I realize that I may have not been dreaming. To me this sounds like BP1???

I am wondering if any BP1 people can tell me if what I am describing sounds like it is BP1, or am I just going through situational induced psychosis?
