This is an ideal of what a good person is to many people but the thing is, it's just an ideal. It doesn't truly exist. Nobody behaves in the manner you described literally all the time.
In fact, never focusing on yourself at all leads to its own flavor of personality dysfunction.
Presenting all of who you are all the time, and showing your vulnerabilities especially is highly dangerous. People like this are easy prey for psychopaths, sociopaths, and actual narcissists.
