Again, that's your perspective and your mother doesn't agree. Keep in mind your view of things is yours and acceptable but not necessarily one that is fact. Whether a type of speaking, namely, cussing, is acceptable is an entirely subjective thing. Like whether or not someone is ok with nude photography. One may find it acceptable and another not. Would you then present nude photos to the person who finds it offensive? Even if you're ok with something, respect is about doing that which will avoid offending another person even if the behavior is acceptable to you.
