I don't knock anyone for taking meds. When you need them you should take them. But i also think its okay to be accepting of people who do not take meds. Its a personal choice, and you accept the consequences. Bad or good.
Congratulation on your promotion I am glad of reading someone who is doing well without meds, it is inspiring.

If I took meds, for me it would mean leaving college, forget about working and having any kind of social relationship, probably I would end up homeless.

They worse my social and emotional problems -the ones are called negative symptoms- to the point I end up being more disable. This is why I am so reluctant, I am not anti meds, I tried them in the past, but my body reacts weird to almost all kind of meds -even non psychiatric meds-, I always get more side effects than anything with few exceptions -and it's one of the reason why I chose to study pharmacy at college-.

Thank you for understanding.
