I have never gone IP for psych related issues, only for other health related ones. My longest stay that I can remember was about 3 1/2 weeks after a car crash. That cost upwards of 200k alone. The thought has crossed my mind when I've had SIs in recent weeks, but I've yet to do it because I'm scared for one. I can't really afford to take time away from work, plus I'm in school.
