Hello sociopathbg: You know... we here on PC are not in a position to diagnose what's going on with you. For that, you'd need to see a mental health professional. (Perhaps you do?)

Personally, I don't believe in clairvoyance. So I don't believe you're seeing into the future. My personal, non-professional opinion would be that you're simply struggling through a fairly intense period of stress & anxiety. Perhaps you're a fairly anxious person anyway. And the passing of your friend has exacerbated your stress level.

Your comment regarding saying something to someone to prevent something from happening does sound a bit OCD-like. But before you adopt that as a diagnosis, I think it would be wise to consult a mental health professional. I know, in my own case, I have some OCD-like thoughts & behaviors similar to what you describe. But, so far as I know, no one has actually diagnosed me as having OCD.
