Another thought.......I got so bad when I couldn't eat that I ended up in the medical hospital with a choice of a feeding tube OR a central line IV nutrition which is actually a minor surgery because they have to place the central line in an artery close to your heart & then attach the IV nutrition to that. One time they actually nicked my lung when they were placing the central line & then there was the problem of possible blood clots in my legs. Honestly, eating if even slightly possible is so much better than the medical alternative that WILL happen if you don't eat.
