Needless to say, I will not come to see them for Thanksgiving or Xmas ever again. They'll probably come here most of the time as they see her more than they see my husband and I since she lives only an hour away from them. We live several hours away from them.

I like that about having your husband take you on vacations. That's your tradition.
I know of a few other people that have non traditional traditions.
I don't know if when my sons are grown if I'll even want to host dinners, etc?
