This is a really big issue for me too, especially once I hit menopause. I have heavy coarse black hairs along my jaw line, upper lip, chin, under my chin and on my neck.
Removal creams don't really work for me, and shaving, the hairs come back too quickly plus leaving the appearance of black dots.
I've found my best strategy is to pluck them out with the aid of a magnified mirror. I do it twice a day, morning and evening, and that seems to keep them under control.
I hate it.
In the new year, I'm going to look at my finances, and see if I can afford a Ultra pulsed light hair removal machine. From what I understand it's similar to laser, but less expensive and the hair removal isn't permanent, it just allows you to go a lot longer before the hair grows back.
