A matter of perspective? I happen to love "winter." It's cooler and I feel better. The flowers bloom superbly.
You can make time slow for yourself, at least in increments.
Haven't you ever been in a situation where everything went "into slow motion?" Through meditation and mindfulness, you can do that on purpose.
The feeling of time flying as we age has been researched. (Obviously funded through our tax payer dollars.)
They say that we don't feel like time flies (but barely moves) when we are young because we have so much to do, and are active in so many things. As we age, we aren't learning new things everyday, don't have a busy schedule of things that are enjoyable and that we look forward to, etc.
This changes our perspective, and somehow makes time feel like it's flying. When we look back, we don't have many things to review as what we've "done" lately, recently, today... we don't have the "feeling" that we have accomplished much in "all that time."
So... plan your days, learn new things go new places (at least on the web?) and pack your days full to slow down the time!
