Hello detour1: I'm sorry you are feeling so broken & sad. The Skeezyks seems to recall a previous post you wrote with regard to not being able to speak to your friend anymore. I don't know why, or how, this happened. But it certainly does sound like an unfortunate decision on someone's part.

You mentioned you're on 60 mg. of Cymbalta. I used to take Cymbalta. It was the best antidepressant (for me) I ever took. As I recall, the maximum recommended dosage is 120 mg., which is what I took. So, anyway, you could consider asking to have you dosage increased. However, before you do that, my suggestion is that you talk this whole situation out with someone... preferably a counselor or therapist. (Perhaps you already see someone?)

I think the best way to deal with feelings such as you're experiencing is simply to air them all out over a period of time. (One session may not be enough.) But gradually the passage of time, plus having the opportunity to talk what you're feeling through at length, may help you to resolve the emotions you are struggling with.

An alternative to this might be corresponding with someone about it... again over a period of time. So if there is someone, here on PC or a good friend somewhere else, you could confide in... in writing... that might be an alternative way of handling your sadness. The important thing here, it seems to me, is to in some way air your feeling out one way or another. Allowing your feelings to continue to wash over you without addressing them is, I fear, a prescription for ongoing unhappiness. Hope you begin feeling better soon...
