Regular exercise has been one of my best antidepressants. It doesn't work when I'm too depressed to do anything, of course, but when I'm in maintenance mode, it's been a wonderful stabilizing influence.

I just jacked up my hip doing a half marathon and haven't been able to run for a week and a half. It's not great. My mood is already slumping.

Exercise is really important! I've tried lifting, but it doesn't work all that well for me, personally. I do like trail running, rock climbing, and yoga. I cannot wait for this stupid hip pain to go away so I can get back into it.

Rock climbing is really the best. Hauling yourself up a wall is incredible for relieving stress. That's my cool workout.
