This new 'cutting fad' scares the absolute hell out of me.
I have 2 sisters, aged 14 and 15, and both of them are into the whole 'emo' thing.
I find myself constantly trying to check them out for cuts, and i find myself questioning any 'aaccidental' scratches.
They both worry me sick.
I've been cutting for almost 10 years, and I never did it cos I thought it was cool.
Do they even consider the consequences? The scars that they'll have for the rest of their lives?
I was visiting my mother recently, and my sister's friends mother was also visiting. The topice of the internet came up. My mother said she concerned about sister's friend because she was quoting Eminem's song "sometimes I cut myself to see how much it bleeds" on msn. Mother's response?? "it's just a phase!!!! I wanted to slap the woman.
