Friends,
I want to share a beautiful vision I had today.
My husband and I were sitting on our front porch when I spotted birds flying in a v-formation across the grey sky. I immediately thought of Canadian Geese, but there was no honking, just silence.
When I went inside I read my Streams in the Desert devotional for today and found:
The little birds trust God, for they go singing
From northern woods where autumn winds have blown,
With joyous faith their trackless pathway winging
To summer-lands of song, afar, unknown.
Let us go singing, then, and not go sighing;
Since we are sure our times are in His hand,
Why should we week, and fear, and call it dying?
'Tis only flitting to a Summer-land.
Wishing you all a peaceful and restful Sunday.
Hugs,
EJ
