Well as you can guess by my subject... I'm having a rough day. Maybe it just seems so to me. First of all I didn't get much sleep last night (no specific reason as to why) but stayed in bed until noon anyways. I got up with a headache... then my allergies and sinus kicked in. I'm convinced I'm immune to all medicines for the symptoms I have. I hate being stuck at home so my mom and I decided to go for a nice Sunday drive.

I was driving and really didn't feel like driving fast today so I obeyed the country road speed limits and went 55. I must have been in a daze because I honestly didn't realize I had come up to small town nor did I see the change in speed limit sign. The next thing I know a policeman did a u-turn in the middle of the road and came after me with his lights on. I pulled over and my luck the officer turns out to be an arrogant jerk. To make matters worse we couldn't find our updated insurance card anywhere, which was amazing to us because we are very good at always keeping important info right where it should be. This was the first ticket I ever got and I didn't think it would be so high. It was $95... I could have gotten at least one session of therapy with that.

The ironic thing is that I didn't even feel like speeding today. I just wanted to relax and enjoy the nice fall day. I mean don't get me wrong I'm not a perfect driver... I do speed on country roads and highways occasionally but I would never fly through a small town where kids play outside on purpose... in fact I wasn't even in the actual town yet today... we were still on the outside of it.

So that pretty much killed our Sunday drive mood so we just headed back home and my headache is now worse than ever. Sorry for the long rant but I needed to get it out. Thanks for listening.
