My dad has had lots of success on weight watchers. I didn't. Everyone is different and that's why there are so many different methods out there. For me jenny craig was better, but right now I can't afford it - because of buying the food it is VERY expensive. Weight Watchers actually isn't all that expensive compared to a lot of weight loss programs. Sometimes they have these times when you don't have to pay the charge to join, just the weekly charge. The meetings are fun and you can make friends. I enjoyed the meetings, but the plans didn't work for me (I can't be told that I can eat anything as long as I have the points... I need something much stricter than that or I fall off the wagon WAY too often). Still, it is one of the most successful plans out there so if you are going to try one of these plans, this is the one to start with!!!
On the other hand, have you ever read Dr. Phil's Ultimate Weight Loss Solution? I have friends who have had TONS of success with that one and am going to read it myself. No weekly charges for that one! Just a book! And since it sounds like you are not really overweight, you just want to live healthier, that might be a good option as well.
