Oh, I wish I were you again :-) I would pay attention in those boring math classes and would do my homework and work to get all I could out of school. . . the first time around.
Being an adult has nothing at all with doing what you want, sleeping until you want, etc. There's work and having to pay bills and any number of hassles (just feeding one's self can be a hassle at times) and none of the things one doesn't like as a teen go away.
I just got a second college degree in what I should have the first time through 30 years ago. But now I'm retired so can't do the whole work/living thing again, "better" this time. I'm glad I fixed what I considered my school mistake though, got straight A's this time instead of C's. It all matters in ways you can't see from the "bottom" where you are. You get to the "top" like I am, old :-) and start banging your head on the walls because you didn't realize "back then".
