Meditation comes highly recommended, but here are a few tips to support you on your journey.
Meditation doesn't have to be an exercise where you sit in the lotus position and try and still your mind. It quickly gets boring.

The gist of it is they approach every activity like a meditation - controlled refined movements, zero wasted effort, focused mind. This form of meditation can immensely benefit anyone in all aspects of their life. I personally try this form of meditation and love it.
You don't even have to practice it in the context of tea-making. Any everyday activity can double up as a form of meditation. You just have to do it with the utmost sincerity and concentration.
