Just tell him the truth. Tell him you are sorry for the past and you would like to move
forward from this point on and be closer.
I have the opposite situation with my brother. We were close for most of our lives but
we had some big family issues and it put us at odds and we have not spoken for two years.
I miss him and his family very much and it hurts me deeply that we have nothing to do
with each other any longer.
My advice would be to be brave, tell your brother what is in your heart and do your best
to try and fix your relationship. Life is short and brothers should be close.
Brothers should have a special bond and be there for each other.
