Because he has no real power over you "IRL"??
I can understand completely effects that he may have left, but try to keep reminding yourself that he no longer has any real power over you

And if you're battling with narcisists IRL then remember you escaped that long ago while keeping that special person inside and you are much stronger than all those years ago (whether it sometimes feels like it or not) plus you are much better than those (any!!) people causing you difficulties..........stand tall, and be proud of who you are
