I used to work with a water buffalo and let me tell you, even with four people walking him with special tethers he was a force to be reckoned with. I'm sure that kid has a lot he's dealing with right now. And I've gotta say, it just sounds to strange to be fiction... you know? I can't imagine someone thinking that up as a lie to get more time. I wish him the best of luck with his buffalo and really hope that the enclosure he was in has been properly secured!!! In my opinion he is telling the truth.

I've got to say, I always hated asking teachers/professors for things like extensions, but I am a very good student and things sometimes come up that must come first. In this case the very fact that there is a buffalo running around is not only a problem for the owners, but a serious hazard to the community.

I say give the kid an extension, and wish him luck... he'll need it!
