Yeah, APs work differently for everyone.
With that said, some APs lean more toward treating the depressive side (e.g., Abilify and Latuda), while others lean more toward treating the manic side (e.g., Haldol and Risperdal).

...though of course what works for most people may not work for you, either. It totally depends on the person. BUT I think it's worth researching different APs and talking to your pdoc about them.
