In the FWIW category:

According to ClinicalTrials.gov (administered by the National Institutes of Mental Health) a company called Janssen Research & Development, LLC is conducting clinical trials at dozens (if not scores) of locations in the U.S., and many abroad. Worth a look for those of us who haven't responded to currently available meds, CBT, and so forth; private studies on ketamine have so far yielded generally positive results.

The search results listed below are for esketamine, which evidently is an intranasal (as opposed to intravaneous) method of administering ketamine. The advantage of that, should the results pan out, is that it could be administered by the patient, as opposed to requiring office visits.

If you change the search term to "ketamine" it will return a list of a 100+ trials from all over the country, many of which are not related to depression but to other disorders. Still interesting reading if you've a couple hours to kill.
