I think it will take a little bit of time to assimilate the change. I guess it's another one of those things that the site itself will work out, with time. Of course there will be those who create a new account so they can be in a chat room they aren't truly supposed to be in.
I'm willing to take members at face value, and expect good old peer pressure to help keep order, as it used to years ago.

I think adults can handle that, coming from other adults. I know when I'm challenged, once I work through it, I'm better for it.
One thing I have seen and am concerned about is the room becoming another support-chat type room. IMO it's important to still treat this new chat room like the main or social one, and any support beyond a certain level (which is variable depending upon the members involved) should still be taken to a support chat room.
That it's secluded from youth doesn't mean there aren't other members who need a break from heavy counseling.

From what I've seen/read in chat, there are many adults who really need good adult conversation.
