Gotta realize we aren't living in the city any more. I would definitely not take that as an excuse for an extension if the college you were teaching at was in down town Los Angeles, but rural Kansas.....I guess anything could happen. As long as the excuse has to do with livestock, it sounds valid. Of course, if the next time he says his buffalo ate his homework....think I would question that one....lol.

You will have to save all your rural stories...who knows what the next excuse might be????....make a book out of them someday.
