Risperdal caused my prolactin levels to be in the breast feeding range. The lactation I experienced was really uncomfortable and embarrassing. Fortunately, I was able to come off of Risperdal because I was already on Seroquel and was using Risperdal as a secondary AP during a difficult time.

I am sorry that Invega is the only med of many tried that works for your mania. Since you don't have other options, you just have to put up with the elevated prolactin levels and the effects. How frustrating!
