I finally got to meet my new Pdoc for an evaluation and med follow up. I also had therapy today too, which went well. I like this pdoc much better. She listens and spent a lot of time with me and seemed genuinely concerned. I'm going to stick with her.....I have a lot more confidence that she will work with me and do what it takes to get me stable.

She switched me to extended release Lamictal and raised the dose, and kept the other meds the same. She did mention the plan is to put me on Lithium if there is no improvement, and I have a follow up visit in 1 week. I have a feeling it may come to that, but we'll see. The only thing I'm a little bummed about is that the pharmacy did not have the medication in stock, so I have to wait until tomorrow late afternoon for pick up. I also am crossing my fingers that it's not so much more money....all these doctor's visits, etc. are getting expensive.

I am relieved I found a great Therapist though and hope things continue to go well with this new Psychiatrist.
