I have a 2 years old standard poodle. I got her when she was a puppy. She is my world and I love her to pieces. She's very smart. She knows when I am having a bad day because she keeps her distance and if I call on her she'll be right by my side letting me pet her or just lay beside her. When I am hypomanic and up running wide open she loves that too. She'll take hikes, long walks, play, lay while I clean and stay out of my way. I could go on.. smartest dog I've ever met I love my girl.
