Do you mean get up as in to start your day? Or to do something till sleepy again? Or to take sleep meds?

I tend to wait a ridiculous amount of time (about 3 hours) before conceding that I'm not going to sleep without the help of meds. (Psych: Why?! Why do you do that?! Me: Because I want to believe it'll happen! Lol.)

It is exceedingly rare for me to get up hoping to get tired again, because that just doesn't happen. Neither do I get up to start day after the pre-sleep wait time, because then I'd really get no sleep(!) Which would be a very bad thing...
