So for years now I would have dreams of waging wars against a nondescript enemy. Usually I remember the middle of the fight. Shields clashing, men screaming, swords swinging, blood on my hands, the sound of plunging my sword into someones belly, etc... Real detailed and very graphic stuff really. Im always the one fighting and I have never dreamt of myself being stabbed or killed. I've always been the one who does that to my foe.

I know a lot say that dreams of battles and fighting mean it is the mind waging war within itself. Also the lead up to a big change in ones life.

Not sure if I believe that or not. I have always lived period pieces and books. So it may be a wish to be in that life of knights and chivalry. But my mind may be using common thoughts I have to express itself.
