I would ask the psychiatrist. If he seems unwilling, ask him the purpose of that. So too try to discuss with him why he thinks your disability assistance (is that what SSD is?) was denied.

You can ask your family doctor this too as both your physical health and mental health end up in the same records. S/he will know.
