I went to see my pdoc today. I shared with him my concerns about daylight savings fast approaching. That I had already started feeling a little down....sleeping a lot. He first asked what did I thought about Wellbutrin. Then said no that might surly make me manic. Then asked if I'd ever tried Zoloft. I told him yes but it was when I was a teen. I had so much going on it my life. I was only on it for two or three months and can not remember if it made a difference. He ordered blood work for my lithium levels...asked me to think about the Zoloft. He gave me my regular scripts plus it. I'm going back in two weeks and he wants to know how it's working. I'm nervous about taking it. Anyone out there with "bipolar 1" that take a antidepressant ? I just know I was given Celexa by another pdoc and it made me go manic...at the time I was wrongly diagnosed with depression.
