SSRIs and SNRIs made me manic. Tricyclics were hard to dose and I had to change doses depending on how I was doing but I managed on them for a while. I've been on Emsam for 7 years and after my body adjusted it's been fine as long as doses are adjusted when I get manic

I was off ADs for a long time but really need one to function. I couldn't be on one without the AP and other meds.
