I've asked a similar question a few days ago on here. I'm on 2 mood stabilizers lithium 400 mg and lamictal 400 mg. I also take 1 AP risperdal 3 mg. My pdoc just gave me a script for Zoloft 25 mg. I've been nervous about filling it. He did warn that it could make me manic. I'll tell you this....right before I was diagnosed correctly (BP1) I was put on celexa (AD). I was not on anything else because I was told I just had depression. I went into really bad mania which did cause me to be correctly diagnosed lol. I'd talk with your pdoc and be "very " careful taking an AD alone. Your pdoc could start you on a different mood stabilizer. I've heard on here many people say they can not take lithium. I'm a lucky one
