My country is homophobic and gay sex is criminalised, as well as homosexuality being a regular controversial topic in letters to newspapers. Politicians also have talked about their disgust regarding LGBTQ, we're regularly likened to child molesters, and some try to sling mud at opposing politicians by implying they're gay.

So I do talk about the effects all this has on me as a bisexual person. How it feels like growing up in a bubble where churches openly advertise conversion therapy programs.
