If you're having issues with a member(s) please get in touch with a moderator via PM with the Community Support Team (such as myself) in an effort to find a solution.
The "hugs given" badge is merely a tally of the amount of hugs a member has given on Psych Central.

This leads me to believe that your primary concern here is that the tally is there in the first place, for all to see. I can appreciate that. I don't "hug" people often, so I sometimes wonder if I look unfriendly or unsupportive as a result, but really, it's because I don't hug those I wouldn't
actually hug in real life; I take these things a little too literally, sometimes.
I'd like to see a feature to disable the display of the "hugs given" badge as well. Unless there is one and I've missed it all these years. xD
