I'm in my early 40's and I have suffered with this for years. It gets worse as time goes on. I often will lose chunks of time. I will be staring off into space, thinking 15 minutes has passed and I will find it's been 6 hours. I don't know where my mind goes during those times. I noticed it got much worse when I stopped working....time would just speed up. I usually don't even know the day/date anymore, so I have no markers to gage time with. When I'm depressed I really lose time.....months goes by and when I come out of it, I cannot wrap my head around how much time has passed. I think that most people experience a loss in memory as they age....but if you feel yours in beyond normal aging, be sure to talk to your doctor about it.
