One of the things I struggle with is mania kicking in and then I start spending money. I had started getting symptoms a few days ago. Irritable, I started having sex dreams, I started racing thoughts and talking really fast about different things jumping from subject to subject. Yesterday I had to go to the grocery store. I made a list and ate before I went. I only bought what we needed for the house. Today I went back to the same store (Walmart Market) to pick up my meds. I passed by the beauty section. I had a strong impulse to load up my chart with items. My eyes were scanning the shelves and I started thinking what I wanted. I had already bought hair care supples at Sally's and Target. I started self talking to myself. Then I had tears in my eyes. I walked away and left the store. I had to sit in my car and try to calm down. I was so upset because I just can not control this symptom. I do not know what to do. I had just left from seeing my case manager. I told him about me buying a $2,000 purse. Then I went to get my light fixed at my car dealership. I ended up trading my car in for a brand new car. I only had two payments left on my other car and no maintenance problems. Now I have a car payment all over again. My payments are a bit lower though. I just do not know a solution to this??
