I have to get up to go pee at least 2 or 3 times a night.

And when I go back to bed, sometimes I can't go back to sleep.

Sometimes I can't go to sleep to begin with.

When that happens, I get up & walk slowly around-&-around the dark & quiet house... for an hour or two... sort-of a walking meditation. Thoughts come & thoughts go at their own pace. I listen to the sounds in the distance outside. When I find myself becoming lost in thought, I turn my attention lightly to my feet as each foot encounters the floor. Usually when I do go back to bed, I fall asleep.
